The celebrated singing sensation Sonu Nigam has been granted the exclusive UAE Golden Visa for his remarkable talent and contributions in the musical field.
The Golden Visa issued by the UAE government is valid for 10 years and has been selectively granted to individuals who are either investors, entrepreneurs or personalities who have made notable contributions in specialized fields. After actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Mommootty, Mohanlal, Sonu Nigam is the latest addition to the list.
Expressing his gratitude, Sonu Nigam said “I am extremely honored and grateful to the UAE Government for bestowing me with this prestige. Dubai has always felt like home and holds a close place to my heart. The people have always been welcoming, and I hold some fond memories from my visits there. I am humbled by this gesture and extend my gratitude to the respective authorities.”
The Dubai Government started this initiative back in 2019 to issue individuals long-term resident visas to enable them to live, work and study in UAE without the need for a national sponsor.
