A jewelry and diamond entrepreneur Sneh Binny, “food is bae”.
“I am a foodie and enjoy trying different cuisines… My relationship with food is only getting stronger as I am getting older (laughs). Just that now with Covid, I have become a little more particular as to how I eat. Apart from washing my hands, I also set the table and the cutlery required before we sit down to eat,” says Sneh, who co-owns Delhi Binny’s Brigade, a part of the Tennis Premier League (TPL), with filmmaker-actor Divya Khosla Kumar. He also enjoys wearing the chef’s hat from time to time. “I am a good cook. I used to cook for seven people almost every day while I was studying in the UK. I can cook many vegetarian dishes. Give me any recipe and I will serve a perfect and delicious platter. I never really learned cooking, but I guess I got it from my mom. She could actually be a Masterchef,” he adds. Sneh also loves indulging in sweets. “But I try to balance it on most days and I don’t like sugar-free stuff unless I am on a diet,” he continues, “For me ghar ka khana is definitely unbeatable, but outside food is irresistible. Home delivery in Mumbai is definitely big and I order outside food once or twice a week to try different cuisines.” Celebs talk about avoiding outside food. Sneh feels it is a good habit if they can make or get made all the desired dishes at home. “Secondly, if various dishes are made at home, then it leads to wastage, or then the same vegetables/ingredients will need to be used to make something else. But otherwise eating out is a better option once a week to indulge in gourmet cuisines,” he says.
