Koena Mitra: Our Industry Has A Success Phobia

Imagine a life in lockdown without internet, a life without online content or life without a personal phone. The digital boom has transformed our way of life, both good and bad.

I am sure we all remember Koena Mitra. She has worked on both the entertainment medium i.e film and television. She was last seen in #BigBoss on colors tv in 2019.

Recently, Koena Mitra made headlines regarding her complaint against an imposter for running a fake social media account. There were a few accounts on Instagram and Youtube, run under her name which were sharing obscene pictures and videos. After an investigation, the Mumbai Police has suspended the fake account.

When asked about the unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput she said,” Bollywood today is more about Bollywood style, it is no longer a celebration of art” in a chat with indiaforums.com

According to Koena Nepotism, favouritism, biasedness exists in every industry making the talent suffer. Further, she admits that he has never suffered because of it but has experienced others go through it.

The Musafir girl feels that Bollywood is success phobic. She feels that artists should speak against it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Koena Mitra will be shooting for a short film in Bengal after the lockdown. She also has a web series in the loop, that is scheduled to release in Hindi and English.
